What curriculum do you use?
    We use the same Alpha and Omega approved curriculum used on the Switched-On Online homeschool portal.

Why should my children study with you instead of going through Alpha and Omega directly?
That’s a great question! And here’s the answer:

How can you offer such discounts?
    Simple.  As a licensed Alpha and Omega Switched-On Online Academy, our overhead is low. And since our ministry is non-profit, we can pass the savings on to you and your family!  In these tough economic times, it only makes "cents" to save where you can!
Will my child receive a diploma?
    Another great question!  Yes, when your child fulfills the credit requirements for graduation a high school diploma will be awarded.
Who is responsible for keeping my child’s records?
    Excellent question!  Charis Academy Online keeps track of all of your child’s online learning activities.  We grade the tests, quizzes, and applicable labs, too and generate transcripts based on that information.
Are you licensed to operate?
    We are registered with the state of Florida Department of Education.
Are you accredited?
    The Alpha and Omega Switched-On Online Academy is and your children will be receiving all of their education through them. We have begun the accreditation process for Charis Academy Online. We are seeking accredtation through the National Association of Private Schools - an organization recommened to us by staff members of Alpha Omega Publications.
Do you have a physical campus?
    The campus is entirely online. Only our offices are located in physical locations.
Will my child have a teacher?
    Your child will be assigned a facilitator who will grade all tests, quizzes, and labs not automatically scored online and who will be available to answer any questions mom and dad can’t.

What equipment do I need for my child to study with Charis Academy Online?
   As long as you have a computer (PC or Mac) and an internet connection (high speed is best), your child can study from literally any place on earth!
